After 1900 miles....NOT an issue on the Tundra.

Over 31K on my 04 and I've noticed only minor dust compared to the rear wheels. The performance of the factory brakes is astounding! Must be all that racing...

You are right...you wouldn't be able to see it...but I did notice that when I was painting your calipers that you had much more break dust than either JT's or my truck. I wonder why that is?

I have the el cheapo stock wheels on mine and I get a ridiculous amount of break dust!

I was looking at the TRD wheels that a lot of people on here have and noticed that they cover up more of the brakes. Maybe that's why you guys are getting little break dust and I'm scrubbing mine weekly!

I think the TRD wheels are shinier too. Maybe I can find a set on ebay.

My wheels gather break dust quite feverishly... is that bad? I have the Texas Edition 18" wheels. Should I be concerned? Is this something Toyota can/should address for me?

TRD brakes are an option and are not standard on any trucks, including the TRD trucks. The TRD brakes won't fit behind an 18" TRD wheel. You need 20" wheels to fit the TRD brakes behind them.

My brakes seem to put out a good bit of brake dust as well. It's not so bad on the outside of the rim where it can be cleaned easily. The problem is on the inside of the wheel where I don't clean.

Nah...I'm not looking for the TRD Brakes. I'm looking for the 18" TRD wheels. I like them better than the regular ones I have. I want to keep this thing stock as possible. I'm done with the aftermarket wheels and stuff. When it comes time to sell it is just money lost. My F150 had a lift, huge terra grapler tires, and awesome 17" wheels. I still got less than the blue book value at carmax.
