| Lift vs. Level Can someone explain the difference, if there is one. Just researching ideas for a planned purchase on an 08 Dbl Cab 4x4, and am not familiar with a leveling kit. Thanks in advance. Gary |

| Leveling kit A leveling kit on a Tundra usually just lifts the front end only enough so it's equal to the rear end height. I have seen some leveling kits that will lift the front 3" and the rear only 1 1/2". Either way it's just going to "level" the truck with a little more room for tire clearence.
