17 inch rims

I've searched this forum for an answer but I've come up empty. I was going through my 4 wheel parts catalog and I saw a lifted tundra that has 17" rims on it. Are they special rims or will any old 17 with the correct lug pattern work? thanks!

Only some 17" wheels work and I think all require you to grind off part of the brake calipers.

oh ok. after i saw that I was thinking I would go with some cheap 17's and get a better price on larger tires. if I can drop to a 17'' rim i can get a 305/70R17 Maxxis Buckshot for about $789, or I can go with the 285/70R17 for about the same price. anyway thanks for the help.
