Tire sizes, How big can you go?

Does anyone have 325/18's installed? I'm looking at the Nitto Terra grappler, LT325/60R18.

Without any mods, does the truck allow room on the front for clearance?

They should fit on a stock wheel.... My concern would be the width of the tire hitting the UCA. But you shouldnt have this with the stock wheel.

May have to do a little trimming of the skid plate as well. I say go for it!

Everything I've read says 305 fits w/ skid plate trimming, but 325's hit the UCA or the spindel (don't recall which).

I've got my local shop hunting a used 325, I guess mount it up and see. Hopefully they will find one. If not the 305 will have to do. Will keep you posted.

I got 305s onto the 20" rim with only a slight modification to the skid plate on the driver's side

Well we tried the 325 today, didn't work. With the oem 18in wheels the best we could do is 275/18, its 1.5 taller. So now I've gotta decide to either go with a wider wheel or stick with the 275. Decisions decisions.

so did it hit the spindle or the upper control arm? I guess you would need a wheel with less offset to push the wheel out a little more. Or a lift!

Don't try to shoehorn oversize tires into your wheelwells. You run the risk of rubbage, plus it LOOKS like you tried to cram too much rubber in there...

Either get a mini lift or a bracket lift, or pick reasonably sized tires for your application.

Chicks it hit the control arm. This was just a venture of finding out what size couold be applied without problems. The 275 can be without hitting anything. Maybe get somemore overtime and go all out on a 3,4 or 6in lift tires wheels and the works. See now that just causes more brain time. Will probably go 275.
